See Bebo, me kiss onscreen: Saif

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan fans can heave a sigh of relief. Bollywood’s Jodi No 1, seen at fashion shows, parties, holidays abroad but never

it’s releasing late November and has Saifeena (as the couple is popularly known in Bollywood in context to the Brangelinas and TomKats of Hollywood) romantically linked, sharing a kiss, making steamy love and what have you...

Their pairing in the film that deals with terrorism in the US, goes beyond glamour, stardom, style and sophistication. Saif, naturally, would rather downplay the kissing and love-making in the film. “There’s much more to the film than intimate scenes,” he promises. “But, yes, the intimate moments are bold and honest. Just as the action scenes are raw and bloody. And the songs, genuine and real. Or the story — brutal and shocking.”

He’s conscious of the risk of capitalising on or sensationalising the fact that Kareena and he are involved off-screen as well. Or that audiences, jaded by the knowledge they the actors know each other so well, might not find their intimacy on screen exciting enough. “But what happens in Kurbaan,” argues Saif, “is that two great actors — if I may call myself that — come together and do what they’re best at. This is what Kareena and I do to earn our living. It’s been widely reported on our holidays and days off... now you see it on screen.”

Kareena was unavailable for comment. Or, maybe she’s not the kiss and tell type of actress.

3 arrested in connection with theft at Kareena's house

police claimed to have solved a case of theft that took place at actor Kareena Kapoor's residence with the arrest of her three domestic helps.

A pearl set and a ring worth Rs 41,000 and Rs 1.53 lakh in cash were recovered from them, police said on Saturday.

The incident occurred on October 8 at Kapoor's Rose Queen residence on 14th road in suburban Khar, police said adding that the trio had stolen cash and other belongings valued at Rs 2.50 lakh from the actor's house.

The three accused identified as Pawansingh Chouhan (24), Anita Osami (35) and Tina Yadav (26) were arrested on October 15 after they admitted to have committed the crime on being interrogated, Additional Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta said.

The trio was remanded to police custody till Monday.

According to police, on October 8, Kareena's secretary Zahid Akram Khan had kept Rs 2.14 lakh in cash at Babita's (Kareena's actor mother) room when she was not there and informed her about it.

"When Babita returned home, she could not find the cash, following which she spoke to Khan in this regard," N Sonavane, police officer of Khar police station said.

"They searched the entire house and also asked their 10 servants. During the search, she also came to know a pearl set and a ring were also missing along with cash," Sonavane said.

Both of them have been seen promoting their upcoming hot movie on different locations. Both Kareena and Saif are talking about their latest movie even though they go to their friends or relatives.

"To kill my stress, I want to start smoking again": Aamir Khan

Mumbai: Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan is suffering from the 'worries of before release'. This time Aamir's forthcoming flick "3- idiots" is ready for the release and going to hit the floors on the theaters shortly. To avoid his ‘release stress' he wants to break his swear of quit smoking.

Mr. Perfectionist has recently finished shooting of his upcoming flick '3- idiots' which is based on the famous novel of author Chetan Bhagat's "Five Point Someone". Aamir is nervous upon the reaction of the audiences for his forthcoming flick.

The actor has quoted in his blog that he was busy in his work for the upcoming flick 3-idiots for last one week and they have finished the last song of the movie. The movie has been finished the way they wanted. This is the stress and nervousness of a flick before release, what will be the reaction of the flick on box office and by the audiences.

He also mentioned that all these worries are forcing him to start smoking again but he will not smoke since he quit his addiction for some noble cause.

Why am I being targeted: Asin

Just one film old in Bollywood and Asin Thottumkal has had more than her share of controversies. The miffed actress, who is a superstar down south, wonders why "people are targeting" her.

"Please tell me why people are targeting me? I don't know why everybody is trying to give me a hard time. I am a newcomer, what have I done (in Bollywood)?" asked an exasperated Asin. "I am clueless why people are just interested in creating stories which are not true about me. I haven't figured that out," she added.

"Apparently a lot of rubbish has been written about me and most of my interviews are wasted clarifying those," said Asin.

The 23-year-old made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan in the hit psychological action thriller Ghajini last year and became an overnight sensation.

She has, however, been caught up in a string of rumours - a recent one being that the actress refused a role in Farah Khan's next directorial venture, Happy New Year, opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

"It was just a fabricated story. The publication retracted it in the very next issue and came out with an apology the very next day. Farah and I are friends. I am really very fond of her as she is of me. That's about it. We haven't talked about working together in a movie at all," Asin said, slamming the gossip.

"It was just a figment of somebody's imagination. Farah has just started working on the script. Obviously, she hasn't reached casting stage," she added.

The other controversy involves Asin and her London Dreams co-star Salman Khan. The first rumour that appeared was that she was at loggerheads with Salman's girlfriend Katrina Kaif. It was reported that Katrina got upset when she heard that her beau was helping Asin find a house in Mumbai.

"I don't even know Katrina, for god's sake! I have worked with Salman in one film and my relationship with him has been friendly, professional. Nothing more or less than that," she asserted. "I don't know why people link actors who work together!"

Then came news that her father allegedly had a disliking for Salman. "What rubbish? They get along like a house on fire and are very buddy buddy with each other. They gang up against me and pull my leg. In fact, I am the odd one out when they are together. They are such good friends that despite his busy schedule, Salman painted a portrait of my dad, signed it and gifted it to him. That's the rapport they share. I really don't know where these stories are coming from," she said.

And what about her seasoned co-stars reportedly insisting that she asked her father not to accompany her on the sets of her movies? "It's not that my father's forever hanging around on the sets. For one of the foreign schedules, he did accompany me, but that was about it. I don't know why people tend to make out this whole big hullabaloo about bringing my dad. It's completely fabricated nonsense," she said.

"Poor thing, he is sitting at home, minding his own business. I don't know why he has to be dragged into controversies. It is quite annoying when somebody writes about your parents. Please leave my father out of all this.

"I am the only person in the limelight. If anybody wants to write anything true or false, write about me. But don't drag my parents into it. It's really not appreciated," she said.

Releasing October 30, London Dreams has been produced and directed by Vipul Shah and also stars Ajay Devgn.

Asin's next project is Ashutosh Gowariker's Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey with Abhishek Bachchan.

Katrina Kiaf's presence makes my movies blockbuster: Akshay Kumar

Mumbai: It's been a long time since the beautiful Katrina Kaif has been a lucky charm for sturdy actor Akshay Kumar.

In a recent interview with a leading daily Akki revealed that Katrina has been really lucky for him.

Akshay Kumar said, "Katrina and I have together given a number of hits and she has really been a boon to my Bollywood career. She is really talented and of course I have enjoyed every bit of working with her."

It's quite obvious that Katrina has been a boon for everyone she has worked with, may be it's because of the lady's love for her fans or her fans' love for her.
