Shilpa's kiss: Blessing or blooper?

These photographs are the latest in a series of controversies that Shilpa Shetty has been having with holy sites.

The first was during a shoot during which temple authorities accused the actress of entering the Gopinath Deb temple of Sakhigopal near Puri, Orissa, with her shoes on. An FIR was later filed against Shilpa by the officials.

The actress, however, was successful in averting that disaster after she lashed out at what she described as 'making scapegoats of celebrities'. The police too, refused to pursue the matter any further after it was revealed that Shilpa didn't even enter the temple premises during the shoot at Puri.

But no sooner was she out of the frying pan, blessings have come in the form of controversy. Pictures from Shilpa's time at a temple in Powai, Mumbai, show a swamiji delivering blessings in a manner that left the moral police fuming.

Many are familiar with the unfortunate Richard Gere episode which took the tabloid press by the storm. But Shilpa has vowed to take the fight head on. In a reaction, the actress lashed out: "What was obscene in that? Don't people kiss their daughters or sons?"

Big Brother Too Boring For Facebook Generation

Big Brother, one of the biggest British reality TV shows will be taken off air after a fall in the number of viewers.
“Britain's Channel 4 network is to take the controversial show off air after a fall in the number of viewers, and an official announcement could come as early as Friday”, a source said.
The source added, "The reality is people are bored with it. Even at Channel 4 the vibe among staff is that if you like Big Brother you're not cool. "If the people commissioning the show don't think its cool, what hope is there”, the source told.
According to source, the “Facebook generation” is not able to relate with Big Brother. "The truth is nobody's talking about Big Brother anymore," a source told.
Big Brother is a reality show in which a group of people live together in a large house, isolated from the outside world but continuously watched by television cameras.
A source informed, “There will be one final series next year, after which the show will only go ahead if the production house can strike a deal with another channel”.

Ready-To-Wear Saris Becoming Very Popular

According to a Kolkata-based fashion designer, Radhika Singhi, the ready-to-wear saris are gaining popularity in India very quickly.
"Indian women are becoming more inclined to use ready-to-wear, hassle-free party-wear saris and lahengas. There is a growing demand for cocktail dresses like gown-cum-saris as well," said Radhika, while she was launching the new collection of her new bridal wear at her boutique, Threads.
According to her, the current generation of Indian women prefer to dress in a similar way as Indian stars dress for international events like the Cannes Film Festival.
"Women today want to wear Indian dresses similar to those worn by Indian celebs at Cannes and other events. And hence instead of traditional heavy bridal wears they prefer to wear gown-cum-saris," she added.
Radhika, who has been a bridal wear designer for the past 3 years, added that the new generation brides prefer pastel shades along with the traditional bright shades.
"Besides traditional colours like red and maroon, today's brides are also choosing pastel colours like peach, powder blue, off-white, rusty red and muddy greys - that are very English - for their shaadi ka joda (bridal dress)," she said.
She also added that the current generation grooms and brides stress more on the comfort, patterns and colours of fabrics rather than on embellishments.
"The trend for wedding dress for both man and woman is minimal embellishments on comfortable fabric like silk, chiffons or organza," Radhika said.

Bipasha Basu Refuses To Smoke For ‘Pankh’

Bollywood’s sizzling Bong babe, Bipasha Basu, who is known for being a teetotaller, is a true role model for all those who belong to Gen X. If the Bollywood gossip is to be believed, this beautiful actress has refused to smoke for a scene for her forthcoming movie, ‘Pankh’.
A source said, “Sudipto Chattopadhyay, the director of the film, wanted Bipasha to smoke on screen for a vital sequence. However, Bipasha flatly refused as she does not encourage smoking and hates it. She was not in favour of the scene and if she smokes, it meant that she would be promoting smoking. After that, Sudipto even gave her the option of holding a cigarette, but she refused that as well. Sudipto understood her point of view and agreed to shoot the scene differently.”
When asked Bipasha about the same, she confirmed the news and maintained, “I don’t smoke and I don’t encourage smoking. Unless it’s absolutely essential to smoke for my role, I wouldn’t agree to do it. In ‘Pankh,’ it was not essential, hence I refused. I had also refused to smoke in one of my earlier films, ‘Corporate.’ If my role is that of an addict, then I will do whatever the character and the role demands, which was not the case with ‘Pankh.’”
With Bipasha refusing to smoke on-screen, poor Sudipto had to alter the whole scene and clarified the same as, “It was a song sequence with a smoky atmosphere. We wanted to show that when she starts singing, smoke comes out of her mouth. However, she had a very valid point that smoking was a very politically incorrect thing to do. She said that she does not endorse smoking and she did not endorse John doing ‘No Smoking.’ She had never smoked in her life. We can’t fake smoking like we do with drinking. So, eventually, we placed a canister jar in front of her which emitted smoke and we framed it in such a way that when she sings, it seems that the smoke is coming out of her mouth.”
When enquired Sanjay Gupta, the producer of ‘Pankh’, he said, “It’s the question of an actor being comfortable. Bipasha had some inhibitions about it and it’s perfectly fine.”

Toss is a laughable attempt

Watching crummy movies can do crazy things to your psyche. Toss is one such movie.

It's so unbelievably obnoxious that it's impossible you will come out unscathed. Clearly, that's not a compliment. For one, it opens up a nagging albeit well-meaning voice in the head which insists, 'Get up and get out.' That, however, isn't an option for the often-derided reviewer. So instead, you sit back and suffer.

Except, like I said, the voice won't shut up. And so, all through it keeps hitting a new wave of realisation that strives to describe Toss differently. Here are a few samplers:

Toss is about a bunch of creepy 20-something's (Prashan Raj, Ashmit Patel [ Images ], Rannvijay Singh, Aarti Chhabria [ Images ] and Madhurima Banerjee) finding the lamest excuse to clumsily make-out in the middle of a deserted forest while mouthing the corniest dialogues. Or maybe it's about those very dimwits bumping into two metal cartons filled with millions and letting greed get the better of them, if at all such a thing is possible.

Toss is about a gangster trio of three brothers -- two expletive-darting adults (Mahesh Manjrekar and Sushant Singh) -- with a thing for sharp objects that can slice all things alive and a roly-poly, twisted, gamer boy who shares their enthusiasm in these sickly activities.

Toss is about Rajpal Yadav's ghost, dressed in yellow beach attire with a hat, lurking in an old Goan villa during the first half. In the second, his spirit too does a mysterious vanishing act. Lucky bugger!

Toss is actually a confused horror film in the garb of a thriller that seems to have lost its script to the washing machine. Nine times out of 10, when they have run out of things to say, the makers employ the easiest trick in the book -- play a loud background score while the protagonists deliver mock lines.

A scene from TossToss is a laughable attempt at a black comedy. The afore-mentioned gamer kid punches a dagger into his already stabbed victim. Previously, he's also had the pleasure of watching a naked guy getting slashed to pieces while he played Sai bhajan on his music system.

Toss is the kind of movie where perverted zombies inhabit the planet and pronouncing Da Cunha (Zakir Hussain) incorrectly amounts to a joke.

Toss is the A to Z of a rambling screenplay and tacky production values. One moment three guys are chasing one. Cut to the latter beating his chest in front of a Cross of Christ, 'Kill me, kill me.' Next scene, you have a stock-withdrawn mother emphasizing on the exceptional status of a live-in relationship to her unusually panting son.

Toss is a text-book demonstration of appalling, over-the-top and awful performances. Not one actor in a cast of mostly lesser known faces project anything remotely to an expression.

In all likelihood, this is not the last of the worst I've witnessed. Nevertheless, it's neither head nor tails (read stars) for Toss.

I'm waiting for good work: Aarti Chhabria

Aarti Chhabria has had an eventful journey in Bollywood - right from Awara Paagal Deewana to Shootout At Lokhandwala. She may not have hit the top bracket yet, but Aarti is happy that she has survived.Last Friday, she had a double bill at the box office - with Daddy Cool and Toss hitting the screens simultaneously

Shilpa Shetty May Enter Marital Bliss In 2010

There had been news very recently that Shilpa Shetty was entering the marital bliss with her long time beau and London-based businessman, Raj Kundra, after her father was reportedly asking for his seized passport to attend her wedding in December. But the beautiful actress has denied all the rumours.

The leggy actress has denied all those reports but says “I’ve said before, I will make an official announcement the day my parents decide on my marriage date and I promise the press will have at least a month to celebrate the announcement.”

She adds, “So to set the record straight, no I’m not getting married this year. Yes, I am looking at next year, but date not decided”.

Shilpa Shetty is engaged with London-based NRI businessman Raj Kundra.

Shilpa writes in her www.shilpashettylive.com/blog/ that “I am sick and tired of people calling me to clarify after they’ve put it as breaking news on some channels and wasted reams of paper on concocted news articles”.

8 minutes of Katrina in 'Blue' She has only a guest role in the film

Just the mere presence of Katrina Kaif in a film is enough to get extra seat bumps in theatres. That’s why the early promos of the upcoming underwater thriller Blue have been focusing on Katrina, despite the fact that the actress has only a guest role in the film.

“I appear for all of eight minutes in Blue,” Katrina clarified in a media report.

Katrina said she did the movie only because her good friend Akshay Kumar asked her to. Akshay and Sanjay Dutt are the film’s leading stars along with Zayed Khan and Lara Dutta.

The actress adds that she was assured by the film’s makers in advance that no attempt will be made to promote the film as a Katrina Kaif-starrer. Rather, the actress has been given the promise that she would be kept out of the film’s hoardings and billboards and will be credited as a guest performer in the film.

Katrina feels that any attempt to mislead the audience won’t work in the movie’s favour.

The beautiful belle also makes a unique style statement in ‘Blue’. She wears a ring under her lip. However, she did not pierce her lip for the accessory. Rather she used a magnetic ring.

Can’t wait to watch her in ‘Blue’, even if she’s there for a few minutes!

Ghazab Kahani

Bollywood’s most desirable female tickles the handsomest newcomer on his ear and plants a love bite.

It could have been a big scoop had it happened in private and not before the rolling camera on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. All those who had doubts whether Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor would look good together will be proved wrong in this film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. People from the film’s unit have been swearing by the natural, sparkling chemistry Kat and Ranby created on the sets.

This is duo’s second film together besides Prakash Jha’s Rajniti which is a political thriller.

Catholic Katrina

The movie has Katrina playing a Catholic girl from Bandra. She’s is dramatic, hysterical and gives herself a lot of importance. She’s perennially surrounded by self-created problems which appear funny to others.

Bumbling Ranbir

Ranbir Kapoor plays a bumbling do-gooder who is goofy and clumsy. His character in the film is a synthesis of Charlie Chaplin and Raj Kapoor.

Ranbir stammers in many dialogues in the film.

Comedy

For the first time, Katrina will be seen doing serious comedy (pun unintended) in ‘Ajab Prem’. Director Santoshi enacted many scenes for Katrina to help her.

“He (Santoshi) would actually show me how to gesticulate and roll my eyes. Once I got the hang of it, I was fine,” Katrina said.

Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani

The movie’s story is penned by Santoshi himself while music is by Pritam. It also stars Upen Patel and has a cameo by Salman Khan.

Produced by Ramesh Taurani, the film will hit the theatres on November 6, this year.

While her beau Saif Ali Khan is cool as a cucumber, has a quiet persona; he is unperturbed most of the times and is never interested in what others are doing in the industry. So in spite of dissimilarities they are going strong in Love

Age doesn't matter: Abhishek & Aishwarya

Now, savour the Shilpa Shetty curry & poppadoms To pamper your taste buds

Shilpa Shetty is learnt to be planning to launch her own brand of healthy curries and poppadoms.

The Bollywood actress had been planning to start a chain of curry houses in London for a long time but put the plan on the backburner after she and her beau Raj Kundra bought a stake in the IPL team, Rajasthan Royals. But now, she’s learnt to be giving the idea another serious thought and has even finalized the names of some of the dishes.

For instance, the poppadom will be named ‘Shilpa Poppadom’ in the memory of the late reality TV star Jade Goody who was accused of racially abusing Shilpa on the British television show 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2007. It was on this show that Jade disdainfully called her ‘Shilpa Poppadom’.

A source close to Shilpa tells a news agency: “Shilpa thinks Jade will have a little chuckle in heaven about the poppadoms. She has been inundated with requests for her curry recipe and one day she just thought, 'Why don't I just create my own range?”

Shilpa has already launched a Yoga DVD and a perfume range in UK since her win in the reality show two years back.

“One of Shilpa's passions in life is healthy living so she wanted to incorporate that into her dishes,” the source added.

Deepika wants Salman

Though Deepika Padukone debuted with Shahrukh Khan with ‘Om Shanti Om’, she expressed her desire to work with his rival Salman Khan. She said that she would love to work with Salman Khan.

Deepika at the same time finds herself lucky to work with the big names of the industry like Saif Ali Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar at the onset of her career.

"I'm so new in the industry and I have been very lucky to have got the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the industry. I have worked with SRK, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan and now I would like to work with Salman," says Deepika, who is currently basking in joy with the success of Love Aaj Kal.

She further adds, "I feel Salman is a very honest person. He is genuine about what he feels and what I have read and known about him, he seems to be very caring."

Putting aside the rumor of Ranbir Kapoor getting well with Katrina Kaif, Deepika places Salman at the top and even remarked that he is a caring person.

'Fit' Aishwarya returns to work All the ‘get well soon’ messages seem to have done the trick

There’s no dearth of the well-wishers of Aishwarya Rai. Just a few days back, when it was learnt that the actress is down with “flu-like symptoms”, rumour began to make rounds that it’s probably swine flu and her well-wishers sent her so many “speedy-recovery” messages that her cell phone crashed.

“But it was the common flu. For some bizarre reason, every body assumed that I already had swine-flu. Whoever started that rumour, it caused my phone crash. But, that was not true,” Aishwarya said at the launch of the Conquest Ceramic series of Longines watches in Hyderabad. She’s the brand ambassador of the Swiss watchmaker.

Speaking about the flu she had, Ash told the reporters: “I had the common-flu. I had fever and very bad chest-congestion. By the grace of God I'm here today and back to a very hectic schedule, so literally after four days’ rest.”

The actress was grateful to all her well wishers for the speedy-recovery messages.

“Please do convey my heart-felt thanks to all my well-wishers for all their messages. My phone crashed a couple of times because of the SMSes, I received. But, thank you all for your steady recovery messages and well-wishes,” she said.

Ash will now resume the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan with Abhishek Bachchan and Vikram. After wrapping up the two films she will shoot three songs for Vipul Shah’s Action Replay with Akshay Kumar.

"The cuteness of Hari Puttar song appealed to me"- Shamita Shetty

She is sultry, she is seductive, and more than that, she is sexy siren
Shilpa Shetty''''''''s lil'''''''' sis. But lil'''''''' sis of late seems to have taken up
a fun masti number in a peppy Mirchi Movies'''''''' children''''''''s film Hari
Puttar - A Comedy of Terrors starring young leaders of the bratpack,
Zain Khan and Swini Khara.

A tete-a-tee with the actor on the eve of the release of Hari Puttar -A Comedy of Terrors.
You did a song for Hari Puttar… It is a fun song?

Yes, but let me clarify that it was a promotional video and not part
of the movie. The producers came to me after the film was shot. I
liked the concept and took it on.

How was the experience shooting with little kids?

I enjoyed every moment. The idea was very cute. And I had to dance
with kids. I found it interesting and so took it up. I think it is a
fun song.

The media has been terming it an item number.

It is a masti number where I play myself. The song is peppy and
Punjabi- a fun song. To term it an item number is not fine. It is a
kids film.

What motivated you to do a kids film?

I have never done a kids film. I wanted to do the song as like I said,
the cuteness appealed to me.

How was it working with Zain?

Zain is a good actor. It was fun working with him.

We don't see you much on the silver screen. What is reason for being selective?

I am running my production house now. And it takes up a lot of my
time. I do not get much time to do films and besides, I need something
that I enjoy to take it up.

It is said that Shilpa Shetty is making a film with you and Akshay
Kumar in the lead roles?

I wish I get these newsbreaks before you do. No, Shilpa was never
making a film with me and Akshay Kumar. These stories are made up by
media.

Television. No, I haven't thought about it. I live one day a time. I
don't know what the future holds for me. I would like to do a great
job at what I have taken on right now. And if in the future, I get
interested then well, it is a matter of that moment.

What do you feel is the USP of Hari Puttar – A Comedy of Terrors?

Why does anyone go to the theatre after buying a ticket? To be
entertained. Hari Puttar – A Comedy of Terrors has that entertainment
value. It is a fun film and I am sure that is one reason why everyone
must see it.

Talking of kids films, one parting question. How does it feel to see
Taare Zameen Par being chosen for the Oscars?

Taare Zameen Par is a film that everybody loved. It is a brilliantly
made film. I am very happy it has been chosen for the Oscars. And I am
sure it will win.

“Renee Is Not Adopted,” says Sushmita Sen

“I have an adopted son in the film, but my daughter Renee is not adopted,” says Sushmita Sen defiantly. Well, she is a true rock star who loves to do things on her terms and conditions and when she says something she means from the heart. The former Miss Universe remains a hot property in the glamour industry in spite of not having had big Bollywood success coming her way, except for SRK’s ‘Main Hoon Na’ or Salman Khan’s ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’. She is all over the place right now excitedly promoting her new movie ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ which has a close resemblance to her life in more ways than. IndiaGlitz brings you this exclusive interview with the ultimate Diva with a million watt smile:
What makes you such a Rockstar?

Thank you! The fact that I believe in that concept. I believe that you can be a rock star without a stage, a mike, a guitar and music. It’s just the way you live your life on your own terms….Then you are a rockstar.

‘Zindaggi Rocks’ seems to be a slice of your own life…

It is easy to get into a character than being yourself. It’s a state of being shamelessly uninhibited to let yourself show. But when your director and unit makes you so comfortable, everything changes. I did feel I was Kria.

How closely are you associated with this film?

This film is the way I look at life. As Sushmita Sen, it is true celebration of life where your life is not about living your life to the fullest, but the time when you may not be a rockstar the celebration must go on. When Tanuja narrated the story to me, I said when are we starting this film! I must have hugged producer Anuradha Prasad fifty times.

A lot of female bonding seems to be happening…Both director as well as the producer are women…

O totally…Shamelessly so…Sure…It’s a full on female bonding film.

You have an adopted son in the movie…How close was it to your own life

(Firmly but with a smile) I have an adopted son in the film, but my daughter Renee is not adopted…

How was the whole experience?

Zindaggi Rocks man…It’s an alive film. It’s gonna rock your world in more ways than one. It’s got tremendous music, lots of life. It’s not a frivolous film. Lot of life in the film. It’s a fabulous film. A soulful film.

Your favourite song in the film…

That would be tough…I have quite a few since I have performed to them. ‘Zindaggi Rocks’ the title track is very rocking…I enjoyed it so much that I had a sprain in the neck while performing. Rabbi is rocking…Sufi music appeals to me a lot. ‘Humko Choone Paas Aaiye’ is the seductive song…Very much like Kria. One moment she is seductive. One moment she is like a child. One moment she is a woman. One moment she is alive. One moment she is dead.

You dedicated ‘Chingaari’ to Maa Durga…Whom would you dedicate ‘Zindaggi Rocks to’

I dedicate this one to life…

One thing that changed your life after ‘Zindaggi Rocks’

Without telling you the script…After this film, I’ve had my rebirth…Where the film ends…Sushmita is reborn

Something about your co-star Shiney Ahuja…

I must say this…That any actor other Shiney Ahuja in this role wouldn’t have managed to give such a fine performance. He is such an amazing actor. God bless him. Every time I’ve watched this film my heart has ached for him. He is a newcomer in the industry but I can safely say that everyone must watch out for him….Yeh Bahut Lambi Race Ka Ghoda Hai…

“I can’t strip myself of glamour,” says Tanushree Dutta

“Glamour is something which I believe is an essential part of me which I can’t strip myself of,” says actress Tanushree Dutta who is awaiting the release of two films ‘Bhagam Bhag’ and ‘Risk’. Having started off her career with steamy roles in films like ‘Aashiq Banaya Apne’ and ‘Chocolate’, Tanushree is looking forward to more performance oriented roles and no, she is not perturbed by perverts who put her name-n-photograph on an escort web site recently. Over to an exclusive interview with the glamour girl:
Your name has appeared in a Porn Escort Web Site…Your reaction….

It’s very unfortunate. But there are so many websites who misuse pictures of actresses and women in media just to promote their web site for no rhyme and reason. I think the best solution that I could figure out is send them a legal notice. I am talking to my legal advisors regarding them. Not that it will make a difference. But Net Policing has to be very strong. Today someone is doing it. Tomorrow someone else will be doing it. On my side, I am not going to allow that Sh.. to happen. So I am gonna make sure that take these bu…. to court. Or send them a notice so that it shuts down. For it irks your mind somewhere.

You are a glamorous heroine…So will we see you shedding that image for more meaningful roles?

I think you can do a meaningful role even while being glamorous. For example in ‘Risk’ I am not deglam completely. I am still dressed well, I have my song and dance number but the performance level has become more refined. In ‘Bhagam Bhag’ there’s a lot of glamour element. There are loud costumes and all that. But again the genre is comedy so my performance level has been refined in a different direction. That’s because of the directors I am working with now. I have done two films. I performed to my utmost capacity. I am improving as an actress. Five years down the line I may not be completely deglam. Glamour is something which I believe is an essential part of me which I can’t strip myself of. Maybe some role comes out of the blue where I shall play a plane Jane. But performance has got nothing to do with glamour.

What is your film ‘Risk’ all about?

‘Risk’ is a cop story and the kind of risks he takes in his life and what happens to him after that. It’s a thriller in the true sense. Lot of action. Lot of emotions. It’s a heavy duty film.

What’s your role in the film?

I am playing Randeep’s love interest, his companion and soul mate in the film. I am the one who provides emotional security and support to him. Their moments together are in complete contrast to the action going.

Are you making a conscious decision to do performance oriented roles?

Yeah, it has been a conscious decision because after ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ and ‘Chocolate’ I was offered with a lot of similar kind of roles, glamour roles. But I was also approached with unconventional roles. It was a matter of choice for me as to what kind of roles I wished to do. I am the kind of person who gets bored by monotony. I can’t do similar thing again and again. I chose roles that gave me a chance to do something different. In ‘Bhagam Bhag’ I knew Priyan Sir came from a different school of filmmaking while Vishram is coming from a different genre of filmmaking while shooting ‘Risk’. So, I knew that my presentation and look in both the films will be different.

What are your views on Vinod Khanna, one of your co-stars in ‘Risk’?

There is a lot of excitement surrounding Vinod ji being in the film. In fact a lot of people are looking forward to seeing him again on the silver screen. I had this opportunity to be in the same film as him. But I am jealous about the fact that I am not having a single scene with him.

How different are your roles in ‘Risk’ and ‘Bhagam Bhag’?

‘Risk’ and ‘Bhagam Bhag’ are poles apart from each other. ‘Bhagam Bhag’ is comedy. I am a stage artiste. Over the top. Melodramatic. Lives in a chawl. Very loud mouthed, bold…someone who can slap a guy. Crassily adorable character. In ‘Risk’ I am extremely classy, I am a dancer, independent, suave, move with a certain class around me, very simple, not too loud, toned down, very subtle character.

How will you compare Randeep Hooda (Risk) with Akshay Kumar and Govinda (Bhagam Bhag)?

Personally I haven’t known anyone. But professionally all of them were very supportive of a new actress like me. They are very organized, conduct themselves with a lot of dignity, lot of honour and very very hard working. Personally I am yet to know them.

Al Pacino makes me orgasmic - Sherlyn Chopra

Sherlyn Chopra is waiting for her first film with a ''real'' powerful character to release soon. The film is none other than RED SWASTIK that is directed by none other than Vinod Pande who came up with Shiney Ahuja starrer SINS 2 years back.

Though she has quite a few releases behind her, they either featured her in guest appearances or didn''t quite boast of strong characters that she would have wished to play. RED SWASTIK may just about change that as it hits the screens soon.

Here she talks about the kind of films she wants to do, her secret fantasies and how she is giving her best shot to make a happening career in the film world.

"I'd love to portray any kind of woman but never a bimbette! I'd never portray a character with no grey matter," said Chopra when asked about the kind of roles she'd like to play. Well, won't really know what her heroes may have to say to that but then what exactly are the characters that excite her most?

"History amuses me in ways more than one," says newbie Sherlyn Chopra. "It's all about the battles lost and the victories won. Between Jhaansi Ki Rani, Jodha and Radha, I'd anyday prefer to portray Radha. Everything about her is so fascinating and sensual that the mind yearns to know more. I'm sure Radha must have been quite amused with herself," she adds.

Now that's quite a lethal mix of intellect and sensuality. While she seems to have chalked a path for herself for the kind of roles she wishes to play, how about her dream man?

"It isn't Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise or David Beckham. My fantasy is 'the one and only Al Pacino'", she says. Is that so? "That's right. The very thought of him gets me orgasmic! And only a guy like him can tame a girl like me. But I have something more to add," she says. And what's that?

"Each time I look at Mallika Sherawat's pictures, I begin to wonder if I'm still straight." Really? "That's right", she says with a mischievous grin, "I don't know why I feel this way but I do feel that it's just a phase and this too shall pass."

Hoping that this is just a phase, she moves on to another topic - the films she are doing. So what's happening on that front? She must surely be hunting for some good opportunities, isn't she? One has in fact heard about how a coy-looking Sherlyn Chopra walked in for a film audition recently and no one suspected what was on the cards. So what happened there?

"The director asked me to enact a scene in the next couple of minutes when I rushed to the ladies powder room. Moments later, when I walked back wearing rugged jeans, a short unbuttoned shirt and a pair of stylish black shades, the director asked me for my name since he failed to recognize me. On realizing that he was conned by my transition, he referred to the me as 'the perfect con'", she says excitedly.

Incidentally, one also hears that the role she was auditioning for was of a con girl and there are no prizes for guessing that she has a fat chance of bagging it now.

You would have enjoyed the trailer of ‘All the Best’ with open mouthed. You would have turned breathless for a sec to see Ajay giving a rose to Bipasha Basu from a car that is rotating sideways in mid-air. ‘All the Best’ is from the house of ‘Golmaal Returns’, that itself was popular for its stunt gimmicks.

For this unique stunt, the crew had taken all the precautions as it was risky for both Ajay and Bipasha. The sources revealed that the car was suspended mid-air and Bipasha had to stand under it. Ajay had to maintain his balance in the car and, at the same time, look romantic as he was proposing to Bipasha by offering her a rose. It took almost two days to plan the scene and an entire day to shoot it.

Well, the idea is surely creating ripples and we are really amazed at the ways people think! Hats off to the crew and two stars!
